Samael

Extreme Metal

One of Switzerland’s most legendary metal exports, the innovative band from Sion awakened on the 14th of July 1988 when brothers Xytraguptor and Vorphalack loaded their musical gear into an atomic bunker. Ten albums later, with their crushing new record Hegemony, we are proud to have SAMAEL headline Tohuwabohu Festival.

Cellar Darling

Heavy Progressive Folk Rock

CELLAR DARLING formed in the summer of 2016 by Anna Murphy, Merlin Sutter and Ivo Henzi. What quickly developed was a unique and fresh combination of heavy riffs, powerful drumming, and an unforgettable voice, along with the signature earthy tones of the hurdy-gurdy, confidently fusing progressive metal & rock with elaborate lyrical tales.

Kassogtha

Modern Death Metal

KASSOGTHA are about to take over modern melodic death metal: every once in a while, a Swiss band comes along ready to innovate and dominate their genre — think CELTIC FROST, CORONER, or SAMAEL. This time, the disruptors are hailing from Geneva, with destructive riffs, steamrolling grooves, and sweeping melodies, paired with a female screaming voice that can compete with any growler out there.
